FAQ

Over two decades of expertise in biomass equipment manufacturing, with 500+ pellet production lines installed worldwide, ensuring proven performance and reliability.
  • Q Why are wood pellets used?

A Pellets are used for residential heating, industrial boilers, power generation, and biomass energy applications.
  • Q How do I maintain a pellet machine?

A Regular cleaning, lubrication, checking die/rollers, and clearing debris ensures high performance and longer life.
  • Q What problems may occur during pelletizing?

A Soft/powdery pellets can be caused by incorrect moisture or worn dies; machines stopping may relate to voltage or improper gaps.
  • Q How to choose the right production line?

A Choose based on raw material type, moisture, capacity, desired pellet size, and budget.
  • Q What is the delivery time and payment terms?

A Delivery time depends on the machine model, configuration, and production schedule. Please consult our sales team for confirmation.
Full payment is required before shipment. Payment is usually arranged as a down payment and balance payment. Installment payments are not supported.
  • Q After-sales & Warranty?

A One-year warranty (excluding wearing parts), dedicated after-sales service team, regular follow-up for key customers, with high repurchase rate and strong market presence.
  • Q What is a biomass pellet machine?

A A biomass pellet machine compresses biomass materials into solid pellets used for fuel and energy.
  • Q What raw materials can be processed?

A Wood chips, sawdust, straw, husks, agricultural waste, bamboo, stalks, bagasse, etc.
  • Q What is the ideal moisture and size for pelletizing?

A Moisture ~10–15% and size~8-10 mm is ideal for consistent pellet formation.
  • Q Do I need to pretreat my raw materials?

A Yes, materials usually must be dried and crushed before entering the pellet mill.
  • Q What is the difference between flat die and ring die pellet mills?

A Flat die mills are simple, mainly for small-scale use; ring die mills are for continuous industrial production with higher output and pellet density—our 8th pellet machine is a vertical ring die, more suitable for biomass fuel pellets.
  • Q Is the 8th pellet machine suitable for feed pellets or organic fertilizer pellets?

A No. The 8th pellet machine is more suitable for biomass fuel pellet production. It works under high pressure and produces high-density pellets, which are ideal for biomass fuel applications but not suitable for feed pellets or organic fertilizer pellets.
  • Q What pellet sizes can be produced?

A Typical pellet diameters range from 6 mm to 12 mm, adjustable by die specifications.
